Who we are?
Fellowship of the Vine is a London-based wine-tasting society built around one simple idea: wine is better when it’s shared.
My name is Calum and I've always had a passion for the grape! After completing my WSET Level 3 with distinction and doing a harvest at the Languedoc’s famous Mas de Daumas Gassac in 2025 I wanted to create a club where people could share my passion as well as some special moments. Thus the Fellowship of the Vine was born!
We host relaxed, thoughtfully curated tastings that bring people together to explore interesting wines in good company. Each gathering is designed to feel more like a dinner party than a classroom - welcoming, social, and unpretentious!
You don’t need to be an expert. You just need curiosity and a willingness to pull up a chair.
What to expect?
Every Fellowship of the Vine tasting is carefully shaped to balance discovery and conversation.
Typically, an evening includes:
A selection of 5–7 wines chosen for character, story and variety
Gentle guidance and context around each wine—never boring lectures or jargon!
Time to taste, talk and compare what we think
A relaxed pace with generous pours
A small group size to keep things intimate and social
There’s no pressure to “get it right.” Taste what you taste, say what you think or just sit back and enjoy the experience.
Who can join?
Fellowship of the Vine is for people who:
Enjoy wine but don’t enjoy any of the pretentious stuff
Like discovering new bottles and regions
Value conversation as much as the flavour
Are looking for social evenings that feel warm and considered, not crowded or noisy
Most people come solo or with a friend or two. Many leave having met several more!
Whether you’re just starting to explore wine or have shelves full of bottles at home, you’ll fit right in here
